Settings for the rangeCut value in Mokka and MipPerGeV factor in digitization
rangeCut
In simulations of Cern07 data the setting
/mokka/init/rangeCut 0.05 mm
has to be included in the Mokka steering file.
MipPerGeV
This simulated data has to be digitized with the following steering parameter in the IntegratedHcalDigitizationProcessor:
MipPerGeV 0.000816
These two setting belong together. It is not recommended to to edit one of them, because this would result in significant changes in the output.

Details for FNAL08 Test-Nr. 2
The plot from Nils shows the hit energy for raw MC muons at 32 GeV and the fit of a Landau distribution applied to it. The red line indicates the position of the maximum of the landau distribution (the 'true' MPV), whereas the blue line indicates the position returned by ROOT's GetMPV() function.
The values for these different parameters at 32 and 80 GeV are
* muon energy: 32 GeV -> peak at 804.321 keV (ROOT MPV: 815.402 keV)
* muon energy: 80 GeV -> peak at 804.794 keV (ROOT MPV: 815.988 keV)
Currently we use the ROOT MPV for 80 GeV muons (816 keV) in our digitization.
Now the true MPV position of 805 keV will be used.
