ILD optimization
This page is a summary of my 2nd PhD thesis topic, the lifetime reconstruction of long-lived neutralinos. It summarises some general software issues as well as the performance interplay of the photon reconstruction algorithm and the ILD detector concept. Furthermore, it shows how I reconstructed the neutralino mass and lifetime.
The aim of this paged is to document my work, so that a) I do not forget how things worked and b) future students that (possibly) continue my studies don't have to start from scratch.
The page is organised as follows:
- Clustering Method
- Energy Calibration
- Efficiency
- Energy, Position and Angular Reconstruction
- in Geant4
- Background
- Event Selection
- Mass Recontruction
- Lifetime Recontruction
