How to start the database viewer

You start by logging on a pal machine (SL5)

• ssh -Y pal-sld5

Then you initialize the calice software

• flcini calice_pro (or another version)

For the conditions data of the tpc group you need to export the DBInit variable to the correct string

• export DBInit= (ask a person of the group for the correct string)

Then you can start the data base viewer and navigate in the folder structure

• dbview -v
